The whole "99 bottles of beer on the wall" thing seems annoying, but it becomes less so once you realize that this Lakeview sports bar actually means it. Yes, the place carries 99 different varieties of bottled beer, so there's bound to be something to please almost every taste out there. Bottle Bar also puts each brew into a category, an added bonus for those who like to get their learn on while getting their drink on.

Bottle Bar used to be Cherry Red, the epitome of cheesy clubs in the area, so turning the worn-out space into a warm-hued sports bar with exposed ducts and wood beams, lots of bottles on display, wooden decor, hi-def TVs and plenty of tall tables to sip your beer at was a brilliant move. DJs spin Thursday through Saturday, but the crowd is decidedly more into a conversation-oriented night out with friends than one spent grinding on the dance floor.

It's still too soon to tell if Bottle Bar will develop more of a clubby feel on weekends, but with all the beer to focus on (there are also specialty cocktails and a boutique wine list for those who aren't that big into brew), it wouldn't be surprising if it became the hottest new sports bar in the hood.
